Charlotte Ballet Academy is offering Summer Dance Camps for young dancers ages 3–6, where favorite tales and adventurous themes come to life through dance, music, and crafts. This unique experience invites campers to explore new creative outlets while having fun in a supportive environment led by our nurturing faculty.
No previous dance experience is required – just bring your curiosity and energy!

What to Expect
Each week-long session is thoughtfully designed to engage children in activities that combine storytelling with movement. Campers will enjoy:
- Playing games
- Creating crafts
- Exploring obstacle courses
- Learning new dance moves
The week culminates in a studio show-and-tell for family and friends on the final day of camp.
It’s the perfect opportunity for your child to:
- Make new friends
- Discover the joy of dance
- Build confidence in a playful setting
Tips for Camp with Charlotte Ballet
- Campers are grouped by age, but siblings can choose to stay together.
- No need for dance shoes or special attire – just send your child in comfortable clothes they can move and play in.
- Don’t forget to pack a water bottle (water only) and snacks (no nuts, please) to keep energy levels high all morning!

Camp Themes
🦖 Dancing with Dinosaurs (June 15 – 18)
From gentle herbivores to mighty T-Rexes, campers bring dinosaurs to life through playful choreography and storytelling in this action-packed week of discovery.
🐾 Bluey & Friends (June 22 – 26)
Wiggle, giggle, and groove with your favorite puppy pals! Dancers will jump into playful games, creative movement, and imaginative adventures inspired by friendship, family fun, and lots of tail-wagging energy.
🏴☠️ Pirates & Mermaids (August 3 – 7)
Ahoy, mateys and magical merfolk! Young dancers will sail the seas through imaginative dance, sparkling crafts, and treasure-hunt adventures under the sea.
